The April Ramble as advertised in the March edition of ‘Pacific Ramblings’ required to be rescheduled a week later than is usual, due to the logistics surrounding the proposed Powerex Presentation in the auditorium at Dunsmuir. This BC Hydro and Powerex Presentation was open to all of the Lower Mainland Power Pioneers Branches, but attracted a disappointing 9-person sign-up,likely  due the venue being in Vancouver. The outcome of this event will be mentioned in the May edition of ‘Pacific Ramblings’

May Ramble to Reifel Bird Sanctuary

For the Tuesday 13th May Ramble, we return to the ever-popular Reifel Bird Sanctuary, located at 5191 Robertson Rd, Delta. This is to be a 1.5-hr guided tour visit, at a cost per person of $6, with a meet-up time of 9:45am. Parking is limited and any opportunity for carpooling should be facilitated through Roy  and would be appreciated. Following the tour, the noon lunch will be at the Canadian Legion, located at 4896 Delta Street, Ladner.
