Lafarge Lake to Hoy Creek Ramble
Tri City Power Pioneers Hoy Creek Ramble, Tuesday April 16, 2024 meet at 10:30 a.m. Lunch to follow at Douglas College after the Ramble.

Hello Ramblers,
We are Less’s new helpers with leading some Ramble hikes.
We are proposing a 3 kilometre hike along Hoy Creek, starting point will be from Lafarge Lake Parking lot, in the area close to the entrance of parking lot.
Hoy Creek is a nice creek with a salmon Hatchery on it as well. We will make a loop hike going one way and come back an other way, and this trail is nice, suitable for umbrellas if need to.
On the way back we can stop at the Douglas College Buffet restaurant for a lunch. Prices are reasonable.
Here is the laundry list:
- Washrooms at the start, and when we get back.
- I recommend to bring some water with you.
- No hiking boots are needed as it is nice walking trail.
