Hello, Cruisers!

Time is flying by and our Alaska Northern Lights Jamboree Cruise is only two months away! Final payments have been made and we have 163 cruisers confirmed in 83 staterooms. This is our first Cruisers newsletter and we are excited to share some important information with all of you.

Departure day, Sunday, September 15

• Embarkation will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with sailing at 4:30 p.m. Expedia staff will be at the embarkation to assist our group.
• Your specific boarding time will be provided when you check-in on-line.
• Don’t miss our Power Pioneers Jamboree All Aboard Check-in Station from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Jamboree committee will be there to greet you, give you your welcome bag containing important information about our activities including the Week at a Glance schedule of events during the week. You will also get your Northern lights lanyard and name tag to wear for the duration of the cruise.
• Join our committee members on deck at 5 p.m. for our Welcome and Sail-away Toast as we leave port.

Cocktail parties

• To take advantage of our ‘at-sea’ day September 16, and to allow more time in the port of Juneau, we have moved our first cocktail party from September 19 to September 16, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• This is our Northern Lights theme party, so plan to wear your blue, purple and green northern lights colours or a Northern Lights themed outfit.
• The second and last cocktail party will be September 21, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Prize Draws – be there to win!

• We will have exciting prize draws at our Sail-away Toast and at each cocktail party, but you must be in attendance to win.

Connecting with fellow Power Pioneers

• Drop into the Café el Bacio at 10 a.m. or the Martini Bar for Happy Hour at 4 p.m. on designated days (see Week at a Glance document in your welcome bag). These drop-ins are optional and not reserved for our group, but a fun way to connect with fellow cruisers.

Group photo session

• You’re invited to our Northern Lights Jamboree group photo on September 17 at 11 a.m. Consider wearing your Northern Lights colors!

Locations – where to find us

• Locations for all activities will be in the Week at a Glance document that will be given to you at the All Aboard Check-In Station on departure day.
• Watch for future email updates to confirm our departure day check-in location in advance.

Some travel and cruise reminders:

• Please ensure your passport and documents are in order and up to date.
• Please complete your on-line check-in with Celebrity, available 45 days before departure.
• Expedia Cruises Langley will be available to answer questions and provide information at their Hospitality Desk throughout the cruise. Times and location of the Hospitality Desk will be provided in the Week at a Glance document.
• Please remember to wear your name tag to all our Power Pioneers events on board.
