Columbia Shuswap Branch and BC Hydro employees from Revelstoke and Salmon Arm offices collected $2900 for the Women’s Shelter (Safe House) in  Salmon Arm and Revelstoke. We distributed $800 to Revelstoke and $2100 to Salmon Arm. Funds will be used to assist women and children for their needs at Christmas time.

The funds were raised by donation from the Branch and generous donations from the members, and by donation and contests by the BC Hydro employees.

Columbia Shuswap Branch and BC Hydro employees have been involved with the Women’s Shelters for more than 30 years.
