The threatened weather held off  last July 9th and a great time was had by all, including guests from the Pacific Branch and Tri-Cities.  The event was held at Heritage Park in Mission.  Thanks to Bernie Smith-Gander and Bryan Bodell for organizing this annual event that we all look forward to.  The food and drink were catered and prizes were donated by our members.  The Survival Bocce Tournament was a lot of fun with lots of participants and surprising ‘twists and turns’ depending on what card you drew.

This year’s Survival Bocce Tournament winners were Bob Merrison and Bev Legge from Tri-Cities.  Congratulations to Bob and Bev!  Our branch is trying to come up with an annual trophy to award the winning team and we’ll include your names as this year’s winners.
