[soliloquy id=”12773″]A well overdue “Get Together Again” picnic was held in Maple Ridge on August 10th at Bernie Smith-Gander’s farm. 38 members from Fraser Valley, Pacific, Vancouver and Tri-Cities attended. The weather cooperated and a good time was had by all!
A huge event tent was provided and set up by Envision Finance and food was supplied by our caterer “Over The Top”, as well as delicious veggie and fruit trays supplied by Bernie.
The Bocce tournament was very popular and the winning team was former work mates Bryan Bodell and Ray Daws, each collecting a bottle of wine for their prize.
Many raffle tickets winners walked away with jars of Bernie’s special home made jam, or bottles of wine.
Representing the Provincial were President Rob Kikkert and Ros LeBlanc.
