At our Sept. 9th luncheon, the Fraser Valley Caring Crafters of Power Pioneers brought in their new projects completed in the past year which will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital by Sharon Perry, FVPP Crafters Co-ordinator.  The beautiful crochet projects (slippers, blankets, and finger puppets) were completed by Sharon Perry, Pat Daws, Lillian Bodell, Susan Devitt, Dorothy Smulders and last year included Bettye O’Malley.

Material was donated by Bernie Smith-Gander (a huge bag of wool); financial donations came from Judy O’Cain and Diane Watts and $100 was donated by the FV Power Pioneers Executive.   Most of the crafters also provided fabric and yarn themselves (except for the ‘big’ blankets which are very expensive to make.
