The cold nip in the air tells me winter is on its way. The older I get the less I enjoy this thought.
Speaking of winter, this year’s Christmas Luncheon at the Coast Inn will be held on December 6th, 2024. Details to follow and hope to see all of you there.
The October luncheon will be held on Oct 8th at Nelly’s Pub in the Banquet Room. We will have a guest speaker from Northern Health that will cover Long Term Care, Assisted Living and Adult Daycare programs. Come out and hear our guest speaker and welcome our three new members, Martin Conrad, BC Hydro Construction Lineman; Wendy Laluk,( Ex. Site C) and her partner Jim Trimble.
This year’s Provincial Power Pioneers AGM will be held in Vancouver on October 25, 26 & 27. Tim Thompson, Terry Receveur and I will be attending.
