On the 14th January Ramble the facilitator messed up big time, in selecting The Museum of Surrey that was closed until the 18th January due to a ”seasonal closure”! However, all was not lost as ’Mother Nature’ intervened by providing a sunny winter morning, that resulted in 12-folks taking a leisurely stroll through downtown Cloverdale, some fortified by a coffee from ’Republica’. Later, 20-folks showed up at the Dublin Crossing Irish Pub, enjoying the good food and Irish ambiance of this establishment. The consensus appeared to be that the January Ramble was saved and that both the facilitator and the Museum of Surrey should be given a second chance to redeem themselves for the February Ramble.
