Pacific Ramble to Blackie Spit
The 8th October Ramble to Blackie Spit and Crescent Beach, saw the weather cooperate in our favour for a change, with the rain holding off during the walk. There were 13-hardy folks showed up for what was an extended walk along the shoreline and the Crescent Beach community, under the guidance of both Lorne Nelson and Gary Hilton, who are regulars on this very pleasant walking route. We also had the pleasant surprise of Marilyne Hedley joining the group, thanks to the support of Ben Dobranowski and Ed Peters. By the time the rain took hold, we were warm and dry inside the Village Pub in Ocean Park, enjoying the good food, ambiance and conversation amongst the 17-folks attending.
