The Pacific Branch of BC Hydro Power Pioneers, with over 230 members, holds monthly meetings at the Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club, except during summer, when they host potluck picnics and bocce games. Their two major fundraisers support the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and a Literacy Fund for schools, primarily funded through recycling and book sales. The branch has a long history with SFGC, contributing to the hall’s construction and supporting the hatchery, with several members actively involved in both organizations.
