It’s not too late to book your Jamboree Cruise with us aboard the Celebrity Solstice, September 15-21, but availability of staterooms decreases as we get closer to the departure date. If you haven’t already booked for the cruise, and don’t want to miss out, now is the time. This cruise is selling out and a number of stateroom categories are wait-listed. So far 180 Power Pioneer cruisers have booked, and we’d like you to join us too.

If you have already booked for the cruise, here are some important reminders for you:

• Final payment date is June 10, and in order to get everyone’s payments processed by the deadline, Traude will begin contacting cruisers at the beginning of June.
• Power Pioneers and family and friends’ registration fee will be $15 and payable with the June 10 final payment. This fee will be used to cover on board activities (cocktail party, prizes) planned for Power Pioneers.
• Please remember to book your excursions and reserve specialty dining experiences as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as these tours and reservations fill up quickly. If a Celebrity tour is sold out, please contact Traude at Expedia for openings on their tours.

We are also excited to share the activities we have planned for you:

• Embarkation on the Celebrity Solstice will be Sunday, September 15, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with sailing at 4:30 p.m.
• Power Pioneers on board registration will take place at 1pm to 3pm, departure day, where you will receive your welcome bags and lanyards. A sail-away toast is planned for 5pm as we leave port.
• Expedia staff will be at the embarkation to assist our group and throughout the cruise.
• Two cocktail parties are planned for September 19 and 21, 4pm to 6pm, with the option to dine together at 6pm, after each party.
• The Alaska Jamboree Cruise theme is – Northern Lights – so start planning what to wear at the Northern Lights Theme Cocktail Party on the 19th!
• A group photo will be taken on September 17 at 11 a.m., location to be announced.

Did you know your family and friends are also welcome?  

If you would like to a have your family and/or friends included in our group activities, they must book through Traude and pay the $15 Power Pioneer registration fee that is due at time of final cruise payment.

What is the cost of the cruise? 

For cost contact Traude at Expedia Cruises. Costs can vary a great deal, based on your preferences for type and location of stateroom, type of deposit, and other factors.

How do we contact Expedia Cruises Langley to get our name on the list? 

Call Traude at 604 533 9339, or if you’re outside of the Lower Mainland their toll free number is 1 800 990 7447. Advise them of your interest and they will create a profile for you, assuring you space and the best rates. It is important to contact them as soon as possible.

Can we use our own travel agent or book directly with Celebrity? 

No, in order for you and the Power Pioneers to get the best rates, promotions and to be included in all the fun events onboard, all bookings must be made through Expedia Cruises Langley.

We have cruised with Celebrity before, so will we be able to use our past passenger Loyalty Program?

Yes, contact Expedia Cruises Langley. They will ensure you are able to use their Captain’s Club past passenger level & benefits.  

We are retirees, but not Power Pioneer members, can we still join you? 

Yes, but you will need to take out a Power Pioneer membership. We will be sending out email updates as  we move along so we can keep you up to date throughout the process. Please take out a membership ($10 per person) by going to our website at powerpioneers.com and select the Join Us link to sign-up and pay with your Visa or Mastercard or you can call: 604 623 3790 for assistance to pay by cheque.
