The SI Power Pioneers were lucky to have Covid restrictions eased enough that they could hold a modified Christmas lunch. About 72 members and guests gathered at the Schubert Center for a roast beef dinner. After the dinner there were the usual door prizes and Dag Sharman of BC Hydro gave the annual state of the union address. It was a great time as many were so happy to finally get together after the long Covid siege.
Another event of note was the resignation of Barb Logan from chair of the phoning committee after 21 years of service. She is moving to the Island and plans to join a branch over there.
