A good time was had by all at the annual 100 Mile Summer Picnic! Once again our group gathered at the Green Lake Home of Carol and George, the host and hostess extraordinaire. Tim and Gale Thompson were enthusiastically welcomed to one of the most significant branch events of the year. Tim thanked our group for inviting them and spoke about the exciting progress that’s been made on the Power Pioneer Jamboree to be held in Prince George in September of 2017.

This year it was a wine game played with 12 bottles of wine plus a prize for everyone. As the numbers were drawn everyone received one of those prizes seen on the right side of the picture above. In addition, 3 of the first 9 people also received a bottle of wine. The last 3 numbers drawn were the grand prize winners of not only a prize, but 3 bottles of wine each! Carol and George received a very attractive moose for their Green Lake home from Tim and Gale and a card of appreciation from our group for the many wonderful picnics that they’ve hosted at Green Lake.
