You’re invited to the BC Hydro Hockey tournament at Planet Ice in Delta (under the south end of the Alex Fraser bridge), Friday to Sunday, April 26 to 28.

The Power Pioneers are running their 50/50 fundraiser for BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH) during the tournament and sellers are needed for the following shifts; Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. until noon or noon until 4 p.m.

If you can spare a few hours to help Terry Perrissini (he will be selling all weekend) that would be wonderful.  It’s a sit down job involving selling tickets and counting money indoors or you can move around and sell indoors and outside in the parking lot where the players and their families have set up camp for the weekend. You can also watch the games and meet the wonderful Hydro hockey players from around the province. Monika and I did it last year, but sadly cannot make it this year. It’s a lot of fun for a good cause. All proceeds from the 50/50 will go towards our Miracle Millions Campaign for BCCH and kick-off our Provincial Small Is Mighty Campaign that starts in May.
