We have had a very busy and exciting winter in 2024.
Our February meeting held at Ricky’s on the Lougheed Hwy recognized the many years which Ralph and Bev Legge have volunteered supporting the Tri-Cities Branch. Ralph was our founding President and Bev helped him with many of the chores that needed to be done.

In February we had a visit from Ralph Hardy from the Seniors Helping Seniors Organization (COSCO) who presented a humorous and interesting and important information on the topic of “Sleep”. It was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all who attended.
In February we had a wonderful Ramble around Blakeburn Lagoon in Port Coquitlam. The weather was beautifully sunny while we were out. We missed the snow later in the day! Lunch was held at the Arms Pub.
In March we attended the Burnaby Edmonds presentation on BC Hydro retiree pension and benefits presented by Sunlife, the administrator of the benefits plan. It was an excellent presentation done for the Vancouver Power Pioneers Branch so we decided to join them for our March meeting which we held in the Cafeteria. Those of us who wished also had lunch there.
The Ramble in March was held in Port Moody’s waterfront and we all went to the Coquitlam Grill afterwards. Here are some photos below:
The Bowling has been rolling along as usual during February and March and will continue in April.
Please join us for our upcoming April events: Meeting at Ricky’s, April 10, our Ramble April 16 and the final Bowling outing until September, April 30.
Cheers,
Delia, Les, Ralph, Cathy and Juliana
