Our members are always happy to donate to the Nanaimo Hospital.  We raise money at our Christmas luncheon, with our Purdy’s Christmas fundraiser and by using cash from our general funding.

This year we donated $1,000.00 to the Nanaimo paediatrics ward.  We collected $147.40 cash at our Christmas luncheon in December, we raised $210.00 from our Purdy’s chocolate sales (Thanks to Lois Earle for taking on this huge fund raising) and we donated from our general funding $647.60.

We also donated $500.00 to the new cancer treatment unit that is being built in Nanaimo with a start time early in 1925.
