Every year we think it can’t get any better, and every year it does just that! In 2015 our fund raising total for the BC & Yukon Heart and Stroke Foundation topped $2529, but this year that record fell when we came in with a phenomenal $2950! In fact we learned this year that since 1999 the Upper Island Power Pioneers have raised a staggering overall total of $42,817! So give yourselves a huge pat on the back Big Bikers! And many thanks to family, friends and all Power Pioneers whose generosity every year makes it all possible. I would be remiss if I didn’t give credit to our chief fund raiser Marge Brown, who has consistently raised an average of $1,000 to $1,500 each year, with another $960 this year! Well done Marge! Twice around Woodgrove Mall worked up an appetite which was well taken care of with supper at The White Spot Restaurant. Lots of fun! Great company! And don’t forget those Lifestyles points and volunteer hours too!
