Over 130 attendees enjoyed the festive atmosphere at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Christmas luncheon on December 3 – it was a great way to kickoff the holiday season, including a visit from Santa Claus.
Lucky winners walked away with Power Pioneer gear from our Gear Store – a power bank, plush blanket, and first aid kit. Other prizes included gift cards to London Drugs and White Spot, Tea for Two at the Fairmont (courtesy of the Fairmont Hotel), and two winners of cash from draw ticket sales.
John Davies presented BC Children’s Hospital Philanthropy Associate Steven Letts with $617, proceeds from donations and draw ticket sales.
Branch donations for yearend 2024 include $2000 to Vancouver Food Bank (distributed amongst various municipalities), $500 (triple-matched) to Covenant House, and $500 (double-matched) to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
