Jingle Pot Substation Museum

Displaying our History. One piece at a time.

The Jingle Pot Substation, near Nanaimo, is also a museum of BC Hydro history. The Museum was founded by Mike Morris (photo above), BC Hydro Power Pioneer and retired line supervisor from Nanaimo in 1998. Power Pioneers actively collect and accept memorabilia from all over the province. The Museum is maintained and managed by a volunteer team from the Upper Island Branch of the Power Pioneers, following Mike’s passing in 2015.

To learn more about the Jingle Pot Substation Museum or to make a donation please contact Pat Morris or Bruce Masse for more information. Small group tours can be arranged by appointment only.
